17 months!!This little monkey has gone from baby to full on toddler in just a few short months. She is running, talking, playing, coloring, swimming... she wants to do it ALL (awesome for her... not so awesome for her mommy... I am the first to admit that while this age is cuter than cute... it is also, so far, the most challenging age). This girl is nuts at the pool... she goes down the little water slide like a 3 year old even though it puts her underwater at the end and she has to be rescued every single time (and she does it again and again and again). She's officially given up her morning nap, which was hard for us all for a couple of weeks, but now I'm kind of grateful for because it gets us out the door a little earlier in the morning and she takes a longer nap in the afternoon when we are all exhausted. Nellie, you are a handful and a half but we love you sooo much. You remind me so much of Hudson at this age... sweet and cuddly, funny, obsessed with water, mom-clingy, and a lover of books.
